Your Thoughts are an Invitation

"I feel so stressed," this is an opportunity for you to tune in, dive deeper, and start asking questions.
Faith, Fear, + Brain Retraining
There is a phrase in the Bible that many people struggle with (including myself at times) and it looks like this:
“Do not fear.”
And I often think:
“Okay, sounds great God.”
But how on earth do I do that?
I am big on neuroplasticity because it completely astounds me that our human brain can be rewired and it’s a concept that goes against everything I believed about myself growing up.
So I was thinking about this in context of traveling last night because there is an example that stood out to me in my own life.
Biological Truth through a Biblical Lens: Lessons from Esau.
Are you selling your birth right each day due to lack of physical and spiritual nourishment?
Lack of physical and spiritual nourishment makes us vulnerable to temptation and changes our view of the world around us. It will lead us to buy into a false narrative, instead of God's narrative. This happens due to the fact that we begin viewing the world through a lens of survival mode, and as a result, it impacts our thoughts, behaviors, and actions and gives Satan a playground to work in.
The story of Esau is a perfect example of that.
She Didn’t Need More Information… She needed Inspiration + A Plan of Action
It was another Monday morning and she finally got out of bed after hitting her alarm for the third time. She felt drained and discouraged after another hectic weekend.
"I can't keep living like this," she thought, as put on her slippers and headed to the kitchen for a fresh cup of coffee.
While waiting for her coffee to brew, she opened up Instagram and started scrolling. "Ugh, everything is overwhelming. Apparently stress is going to kill me, there is literally so much information of what to eat and how to live and now every ingredient is toxic? What can I even pack for lunch? Why am I even trying to eat healthy..."
Discouraged, she almost closed the app, but then a certain post caught her attention. It was a screen shot that said this:
