Home remedies for back pain
As someone who has degenerative disc disease and inflammation in here tail bone, I understand how bothersome back pain can be. I created this both from a place of empathy and also excitement because these remedies have done wonders for me and I bet they will for you too!
Here are 6 of my favorite tools:
1. My newest addition is my acupuncture mat by Go kanjo. It targets pressure points on the back and provides relief for neck pain and stiffness and muscle tightness. Bonus: I’ve noticed it helps with reducing anxiety + stress as well.
2. Arnica gel + arnica tablets. The gel is so soothing! I don’t use the tablets often but I keep them on hand for pain.
3. Tens unit: it’s an at home nerve stimulation device. This is often used in chiropractic offices, but I am cheap and like to do it from home. It provides great pain relief! I use it for up to 20-30 mins.
4. Magnesium: I love ancient minerals lotion + bath flakes. So many benefits (see my magnesium post for more).
5. Type 2 collagen: I’ve been using this for over 2 years and it has done wonders. We begin losing collagen after the age of 25ish so it’s so helpful to replenish. This one is clinically patented and backed by clinical trials and I love hearing testimonies on this product. You can use code 9186854 for $10 on the site I linked.
6. Stretching. I love @standunshakens movement videos.
Excited to hear how these work for you!
