What is Bee Propolis?
Bee propolis is one of my personal favorite ancient natural remedies. I became fascinated by bee products used for healing when I saw a wound care nurse using honey to heal wounds in a hospital setting years ago. It is natural resinous mixture produced by honey bees from substances they collect from plants, buds, and exudates. The bees use propolis to repair their hives + as a protective barrier against invaders. We can use propolis to support our God designed immune system.
Propolis is said to date all the way back to the time of Aristotle circa 350 B.C. It has many uses, such as:

Contraindications:
If you have an allergy to bees, honey, royal jelly, bee pollen. do not consume unless you are cleared by an allergy specialist.
If you have asthma: some studies show it can be beneficial, but it is best to check with your doctor first.
If you are on blood thinning medications, check with your doctor before consuming.

While honeybees use bee propolis to protect their hives from invaders, us humans can utilize it both internally and externally for medicinal purposes.
